Easy Care: what's your secret?

Easy Care means no ironing! The secret of EasyCare lies in the final treatment of the fabric. Technically, it involves cross-linking the polymers inside the wet fiber. Simply put, this fabric impregnation process keeps the fiber supple. As a result, the fabric is more resistant to tearing, shrinking and wrinkling, without the need for ironing.Lightly treated, LE CHEMISEUR® Easy Care fabrics avoid the slightly "plastic" appearance of some shirts without ironing.

Practical & harmless

The big advantage of Easy Care fabric is that it's crease-resistant. Even after a fast-paced day full of unforeseen events! This feature is a real revolution for those who want to look impeccable in every circumstance, but can't find the time to iron their shirts. Travelers and men in a hurry who want to look elegant in every circumstance but can't wear their freshly ironed shirts will also be won over by this fabric. Easy Care is less prone to damage on the inside of the collar and cuffs, and keeps a very good drape over the long term.

Easy Care doesn't get hot or sweaty, and is harmless to health. In fact, it contains no harmful substances that could present any risk, is absolutely non-aggressive to the skin and is hypoallergenic. It's also less polluting for the environment!

Easy care

Shirts made from Easy Care fabric require minimal maintenance. But here are a few tips on how to pamper them properly!

Step 1: Washing. First of all, avoid putting the shirt in a ball in the laundry basket and leaving it there too long before starting the next machine. It's best to wash it inside out at around 30° or 40°.

Step two: Drying. When the washing program is finished, remove your shirt as soon as possible and hang it on a hanger to air-dry. Avoid tumble-drying, as this destroys the fibers and shortens the life of your shirt.

Optional: Ironing. Easy Care shirts are treated to simplify ironing, and it's always a good idea to iron them for a longer-lasting effect. Several Easy Care fabrics are available in the LE CHEMISEUR® range: you'll find them in Oxford, Twill and Poplin. Oxford is an essential fabric to include in your wardrobe. It is characterized by its pinpoint weave. Pleasant to wear, its worked structure gives it luminosity and comfort. Twill is characterized by a diagonal weave creating fine grooves and a textured, opaque and slightly satiny effect. Poplin, on the other hand, features a twisted yarn weave for a pleasant feel and good opacity.
