If you are not satisfied with your first fit, we will correct it for free within 100 days.
In 81% of cases, no return is necessary. Otherwise, the process is simple and fast.
1. Wash your shirt two to three times. It’s normal for a new shirt to feel slightly roomy, as our AI anticipates shrinkage after washing.
2. To save time, you can have it altered yourself and get reimbursed (see below).
3. Prefer to let us handle the adjustments? Sign in to your customer account, then click “Use this shirt as a starting point”.
4. Adjust your Fit Key using the tutorials on the site. Deciding what to change is easy, because your first shirt serves as the reference. If you have questions, feel free to send us photos or book a video call.
5. Confirm your new order by entering the code retour-H4GB in the “Gift code” field. If we need to retrieve the initial item for alterations, we’ll send you a prepaid return label.

If you’re not satisfied with the fit of your first shirt (or first pair of trousers), for any reason, we will alter or remake it free of charge.
We’ll send you a prepaid return label if needed.
As our shirts and trousers are 100% made-to-measure and crafted especially for you, we can’t offer a refund if you change your mind about a fabric or a collar. But please contact us so we can find a solution.
If you know a tailor, save time by going directly through them. You can be reimbursed up to €30 for shirts and €50 for trousers, via the payment card used for the original order. For gifted items, we’ll issue a store credit for a future purchase.
To be reimbursed, simply email a photo of the receipt to lecontact@lechemiseur.fr. Please include a note about the alterations made, so we can update your Fit Key for future orders!
